Jurgen Klopp is without three senior players as his side resumes action at the King Power Stadium against Leicester City following a 16-day break
Emre Can has replaced Jordan Henderson in Liverpool’s starting line-up following the captain’s foot injury, with Dejan Lovren and Daniel Sturridge also out of the matchday squad at Leicester City.
Jurgen Klopp’s planning for the Premier League fixture was disrupted by the 26-year-old’s setback in training on Friday, with the manager already sweating on the availability of the centre-back and striker.
Lovren could not fully shake off a knee issue in time to feature at the King Power Stadium on Monday night, while Sturridge did not manage enough sessions after battling a virus.
Marko Grujic has rejoined the group for their full workouts, but is still regaining his sharpness following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a hamstring tendon problem.
Leicester, meanwhile, make one change from their defeat to Sevilla in the Champions League last time out, with Shinji Okazaki replacing Ahmed Musa as life begins for the Foxes without sacked manager Claudio Ranieri.
