See Anderson Paak's Gospel Choir-Backed 'Come Down' Video


Anderson .Paak has unveiled a new video for his Malibu single “Come Down.” A part of The Recording Academy’s “Believe in Music” campaign, the clip features a gospel choir and cameos from Paak’s family.

The live performance-styled clip opens with a gospel choir singing in a church. The group parts to reveal Paak drumming behind them, which showcases his roots as a drummer in a gospel choir. The congregation also joins in with handclaps and dancing for the rousing, soulful rendition.

The video features friends and family from Paak’s hometown of Oxnard, CA, including cameos from his sister Camille and six-year-old son Soul.

Paak is slated to perform with A Tribe Called Quest during the 2017 Grammy Awards broadcast on Sunday. The singer is nominated for Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album for Malibu
