The famous actress will take centre stage to reveal the winner of FIFA’s big prize and is set to win over a few fans as she appears alongside Ronaldo, Messi and Griezmann
Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann have the special privilege of sharing the podium for FIFA’s Best Player award on Monday, but there is an added bonus that will delight the footballing icons – they will share a stage with Eva Longoria.
The actress and political activist from Texas will host the awards ceremony alongside German radio and television presenter Marco Scheryl.

Scheryl is a renowned name in his homeland, having hosted some of the nation’s biggest shows, while he also presented the Olympic Games in 2004 as well as a large amount of Bundesliga, UEFA Champions, Europa League and international games.
However, it is Longoria who attracts most attention. The Latino actress has featured in over 20 films, but is best known for her starring role in Desperate Housewives, in which she played former model and diva Gabrielle Solis. Longoria was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the hit TV show, and has been nominated for and won several other awards throughout her career.
She is also known for her charity work, having set up foundations in her name to help children and those in poverty, and is associated with several other charities. And she is a constant voice in politics, having spoken at Democratic National Conventions.
Now married to Jose Antonio Baston, she remains a famous name across the world and a keen businesswoman. And she is ready to steal the hearts of football fans when she takes centre stage to reveal the first winner of FIFA’s Best Player prize.
While the eyes of the footballing world will be on Longoria as she bestows the highly coveted title and award of The Best to one of the stars of La Liga, the trio will be honoured to stand alongside a woman once voted the sexiest female on US TV. Longoria was even named Maxim’s Woman of the Year in 2014.
At 41, Longoria is still lauded for her beauty and continues to appear on the cover of magazines, while she models for her clothing range, The Limited. Safe to say, she will attract many new fans when she hosts Monday’s ceremony.
