Hook set for second Ospreys debut

Former Wales international James Hook will make his first Ospreys appearance in six years when the Welsh region faces Leicester Tigers on Friday night.

Hook re-joined the Ospreys on a three-year deal this summer following spells with Perpignan in the Top 14 and, most recently, Aviva Premiership club Gloucester.

The fly-half made over 100 appearances for the Liberty Stadium outfit prior to his 2011 departure and won the Celtic League twice.

Hook has been named on the bench for the clash in Bridgend, alongside fellow new arrival Cory Allen. The Lions quartet of Dan Bigger, Rhys Webb, Justin Tipuric and Alun Wyn Jones are still on a break following the summer tour of New Zealand.
