Maybe the Jets don’t have to look to the draft for a quarterback.
Oklahoma City’s Taj Gibson hit a remarkable buzzer-beater just before halftime of the Thunders’ loss to Portland.
With the score tied at 57-57, Gibson intercepted (the Jets can use help there, too) a full-court Trail Blazers inbounds pass and quickly threw the rock one-handed, like a football, back towards the other net.
Somehow, the ball, which was thrown so high it disappeared from the TNT broadcast for a split second, went in… and it didn’t even need help from the backboard.
Not to be outdone, a Trailblazers fan then came out minutes later and hit a half-court shot to win a car.
