Bulls’ Jimmy Butler denied high-five from Pistons’ Marcus Morris

Jimmy Butler did not want to be left hanging.

The Bulls guard tried to mess with Pistons forward Marcus Morris at the free throw line, but Morris wasn’t having any of it.

In the third quarter, with the Bulls up 65-61, Morris bricked a free throw and, as most NBA players do, stuck his hands out for high fives after the shot.

Butler, standing behind Morris during the free throw, came walking to the top right elbow and stuck his hand out but Morris walked to the top of the key and back to the line, leaving Butler hanging there for eight seconds before the Bulls guard left to take his spot.

Nice try, Jimmy.
